
BIG CHIP 2009 AWARD CATEGORIESBig Chip 2009 is now closed for entries
Last year we introduced two new awards open to entries from outside the North West of England. These will be repeated this year together with 13 categories for entries from the North West.
These awards are for work mostly carried out in the North West, Including Best E-Business Project, Best Use of Design, and many more - see below for a list. Entrants for any of these awards can win three other awards - Tasty Website, Best New Media Agency Award, and the prestigious Grand Prix.
For the best stand-alone game from across the North of England - where all the best games work is done.
This prestigious award was created in 2008 to celebrate 10 years of Big Chip and 60 years since the invention of the stored programme computer in Manchester. The award will be given to the best digital innovation of the last year and is open to nominations and entries from anywhere in the world.
In honour of the late Anthony Wilson, and selected from entries to the 11 main categories by a special guest judge.
A distinguished judging panel of 9 experts will be chaired by New Media Age editor-in-chief Michael Nutley. The Game of the North award will be judged by a specialist panel.
