Clipper Round The World Race - Race Viewer

Skylab designed and built the website of the Clipper Round The World Yacht Race. The site features a specially designed Race Viewer which tracks and records yacht positions using satellite data uplinked from the yachts as they race. The data was then integrated into a Google Maps interface. Skylab has also developed a fully-featured content management system providing news, blogs, podcasts, video and photographs taken onboard the yachts during the race and delivered to the site instantly. Website visitors can also provide comments and get involved in the race.
