Higgins and Bowers Freelance, Development of Slipstream Energy Web Site
The winner here was brilliantly simple idea - that the site for a company that makes wind turbines should itself run on renewable energy. In doing so Higgins & Bowers both strengthened the client’s brand and highlighted the potential for the digital industry to do something about its carbon footprint.

This project was to develop a web site that conveyed the engineering excellence and aesthetic design employed by Slipstream Energy in their products. To highlight Slipstream Energy's commitment to clean technology Higgins and Bowers chose to run the site on a 100% solar powered server based in California.
