
The 2009 Game of the North Award celebrated the fact that some of the best games work in the UK is done in the North of England.
Entries were welcomed from anywhere in the North of England - including the North East, North West and Yorkshire and the Humber
Judging criteria: "submissions can be stand-alone electronic games working on any platform that demonstrate innovation, outstanding design or 'playability'."
"Games which are part of a marketing or e-learning project belong in the marketing or e-learning categories."
